Today we’d like to introduce you to Aidan Kelleher.
Aidan , we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
Since I’ve been very young, I had loved to draw and do arts and crafts. As I started to get older, I thought “this is what I want to for the rest of my life.” Around this time I signed up for art classes in Wakefield at a studio called “Kidcasso” Now, two years later I still takes classes at “Kidcasso.”
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I like to draw with graphite and paint with acrylics. My art is very stylized and is based on work done by animators such as Walt Disney. I also draw realistically and draw what I see. I hope people get inspiration from my art and like it.
Have things improved for artists? What should cities do to empower artists?
My advice would be to keep drawing. If you don’t think your art looks good, you should practice until you get better. It doesn’t matter the supplies you use either. You can still make art with a pencil and crayons too.

My art is displayed at an art show run by “Kidcasso”.
